Grizzly hunting trip

These pictures are from a bear hunting trip Luke took with Thomas this week. They did not see any bears, but they did see a lot of caribou, and some nice scenery.

Can you spot all 17 Caribou?

Thomas taking pictures for his folks.

We are thinking about trying to ski and snow board down this hill next winter...

Only two miles to go up the valley and left over the hill top!

Pictures of the boys

Happy boy!

Take a picture of me too!

I like being able to sit up and look around.

Daddy and Stryder.

Wrangell's not really getting the hang of potty training yet........

Northeast corner of the house.

Front of the house. We got the log girders set and began the eastern side gable end this week.

Luke doing one of the notches.

We will have plenty of windows on the south side, which makes Charity very happy. No more darkness in the cabin!

Being afraid of heights is not an option.

People at Work

Setting those logs in place and securing them fast with log screws.

Charity with a chainsaw.......scary!

Luke doing some fine notching.

The Boys

The next few shots are of Wrangell dressing himself.

Coat is on upside down.

Changed hats but the coat is still upside down!

Wearing sunglasses upside down is the new style too. Maybe he has a crooked nose like me and they stay on better that way.

One likes thumbs the other likes plastic.

I think they are in the wrong seats.

Oh boy. Dirt. Oh wait that must be chocolate there is still 3 feet of snow outside.

Stryder playing.

Wrangell likes to take pictures with Stryder.

Lemon bags make fun hats!

Morning Sunshine

Wrangell skinny sawing

Must be bedtime... notice how they end up in our bed...

Latest building pictures

Two more courses then the first floor will be done. No more saddle notches! The gable ends should go pretty quickly once the log girders are set.
