Pictures from the Summer

Here are some pictures from the summer. We didn't get many pictures of us and our kids at VBS's because there were only three or four of us with anywhere from 6 - 35 kids. We couldn't get into Canada right away because they wanted us to get working papers even though we didn't need them. So we turned back for the night and camped about 3 miles from Canada Customs. On the way back to camp there was a Grizzly Bear eating grass on the side of the road. He was still there in the morning on the way back to customs. It was neat to see the Lord answer our prayers to see a bear by keeping us from getting through customs right away.

While we were in Beaver Creek it rained almost everyday for a little while. We saw several rainbows and this is a picture of the brightest one we saw with the Beaver Community Center in the foreground.
Here is a picture of Dawson City, YT from the Dome Overlook.

We saw several foxes and a yearling Grizzly Bear close to Dawson City on the Top of the World Highway. Anne got out of the truck to take a picture of the small grizz and I tried to get her to get back in... she didn't listen so I got out and stood next to her so I wouldn't feel bad if it decided to attack her while we were all sitting in the truck. The bear got our scent and growled at us and bluff charged a few steps. After that I didn't have to convince Anne to get back into the truck.
