My First Archery Buck
This is the first buck I shot in archery season. I shot him at 30 yards from the ground. I was walking back to my car from my stand before dark and ran into this guy on the way out. I was lucky enough that he didn't see me and I drew my Bow and sent my 100 grain broadhead, traveling at 272 fps, into his rib cage. He traveled about 75 yards before piling up. I had seen an 8-pointer earlier in the season in this area that was about 14 inches wide and I thought that was the buck that I had shot. Boy was I surprised when I found this buck! He had a 20" inside spread and went about 220 pounds.

Hellooooooo cousin Luke (and cousin Charity, and cousin baby)from your cousin Rachel!
I just thought that everybody should know that it was MY car that carried this buck away from where Luke got it. That's right. This thing was in the trunk of MY 1993 civic. Well, halfway in the trunk. I guess it was too big to fit all the way in. :-P Yes, my car is proud to have facilitated in claiming this prize. Luke, wanna run a marathon?
yeah Ben lets run 5 marathons in one week!
